Gas Recon considers the safety of its employees, contractors, neighbours, clients and the general public to be of prime importance.
First and foremost, safety is always our first priority at Gas Recon – it is part of our core values and reflected in all of our activities. With this in mind, we want you to know that we are taking the following steps to address the COVID-19 Virus:
Gas Recon’s management team are actively monitoring the situation and the potential effects on our employees, operations and clients’ operations.
We have implemented and shared with our employees several preventative measures – careful and regular hand washing, social distancing, ‘cover your cough’, stay “home” if you feel sick and self isolation if you feel you may have had direct exposure in the virus’ environment.
We have informed all employees to stay home if feeling unwell and to consult with their doctor as well as reporting back to GRI administration for monitoring and corporate procedure review and bulletins.
All business travel not directly related to the execution of a project is cancelled; additional directives have been issued with regard to personal travel consistent with government and health authorities guidelines. Employees who have traveled outside of Canada for business or personal reasons, have had family members who have done so, and/or who have been in proximity to anyone suspected of having or are confirmed having the virus within the last 14 days, are being instructed to self isolate at home for a period of 14 days.
All of our Office/Site locations are operating on restricted access. During this time no unnecessary visitors will be allowed on site. All non-essential field audits have been suspended to minimize the personnel involved in the services.
